Jet li

Jet li

Our generation watched a lot of Jet Li moves. All his tricks and moves were terrific and daring, we all wanted to try them out. Like the jumping on the roofs and the Taichi moves of tearing a man apart just with one punch, all in a calm and collected move. I remember when my mother used Jet Li’s name just to make us eat breakfast. Like who doesn’t want to be like Jet Li?!

Now literally, my childhood almost got ruined when I learned that it was all film tricks! Still hurts though.

So I walked into RED Chinese Restaurant in EKO HOTELS, the only place I can actually get the best kind of Chinese food, talking from a series of testing and bad experiences, and it seemed like I get a new kind of experience (I need to get back to the real story, I get distracted every time I get to talk about RED Chinese Restaurant).

So back to the story, I walked into RED Chinese Restaurant and saw a beautiful woman that looked like walked in with her baby boy just to have lunch, this cute little boy kept jumping around and then I heard his mummy say, “Tolu, don’t you want to be like Jet LI, come and finish your food and stop jumping around”. The boy couldn’t possibly have known Jet Li, but the mother could.

 AMAZING!

Memories flooded and I wished I was pampered to have lunch again. I stopped daydreaming when a waiter came with the menu and warm smiles asking what I would love to eat. I felt pampered again! This happens all the time.

RED Chinese Restaurant is actually a place of memories( for me), networking and a land of great Chinese cuisines. You can never get enough. EKO HOTELS sure has the real deals!
